I grew up in western Montana, fishing the river systems and creeks of the Bitterroot Valley and surrounding areas. After graduating from the University of Montana my wife and I moved to Colorado in 2006 and have been here ever since.
I enjoy all forms of fly fishing, but sight fishing for rising trout is what I enjoy the most.
Trips
Flat Top Wilderness Horseback Fly Fishing
This trip is a full day (8 hours). The first 2 hours of the day are spent riding up to the waters of the legendary Flat Top Wilderness followed by some world class high alpine fishing. Typically we are able to find fish in the small streams as well as the mountain lakes. We will break for lunch half way through the day, get a few more hours of fishing in, and then ride down at the end of the day.

This trip is a great setting for families, groups and couples looking for the ultimate way to sample the real Colorado and it’s offered from early June – early Aug. Please allow at least 10 days notice for booking.
