The fertile Kanektok River is one of the greatest trout, char, and salmon fisheries in Alaska and by extension, the world. The first week of August marks the annual return of aggressive Coho Salmon, combined with legendary Dolly Varden Char, Rainbow trout and four other species of Pacific Salmon in the system.
